USEUM.org is a virtual art museum showcasing 170,000 artworks from the Renaissance to the present day. This platform is dedicated to painting and illustration, providing exposure to more than 2,000 artists. Since its inception as a PhD project, USEUM has gained traction, attracting thousands of daily visitors. Recognizing the challenge of presenting art in an increasingly visually cluttered online space, USEUM offers features to enhance accessibility to art, as evidenced by its 23k fine art wallpapers available for download. The platform has garnered attention from major media outlets such as the BBC and the New Yorker, and has been featured on prominent Chinese platforms like Zhihu and Weibo. Founded in 2012 and based in the United Kingdom, USEUM received non-equity assistance investment from MassChallenge on 01 January 2016. Its focus on art, coupled with its successful promotion and utilization of academic research, positions USEUM as a notable player in the E-Commerce, Mobile, and Social Media industries, offering a unique platform to appreciate and engage with art in the digital age.
