Urbanspace

Urbanspace is a UK-founded company known for creating immersive food halls where creativity and community flourish. Established in 1972 as Urban Space Management, the company has revitalized over 50 projects, transforming derelict city spaces into vibrant areas for community and commercial gathering. In 1993, Urbanspace expanded to the United States, notably introducing the iconic Union Square Holiday Market and various pop-up markets. In 2015, they unveiled their first brick-and-mortar food hall, Urbanspace Vanderbilt, which proved successful and led to the opening of year-round locations in prominent areas like Times Square and the General Electric Building. In 2022, Urbanspace continues to expand with the launch of additional locations, including Urbanspace Pearl in the Financial District and Urbanspace Union Square. Their collaboration with KF Seetoh resulted in the introduction of Urban Hawker, the first of its kind in New York City, showcasing authentic Singaporean vendors. Notably, their last investment was a $7.00M Debt Financing round from Feenix Venture Partners LLC on 15 October 2022. Urbanspace is well-positioned as an industry leader in food halls and creative public place making within the Food and Beverage and Hospitality industries in the United States.
