UBW is led by Kevin Skiles, who is licensed as an architect and a contractor. A proud graduate of the University of Michigan’s architecture program, he earned his master’s degree in real estate finance from MIT. He is currently serving his third term as a local planning commissioner. Kevin brings a unique level of construction knowledge to the design process, allowing him to gauge real-time costs. This is a boon for clients, who can lean on this advice to make important decisions. He is also skilled at navigating the permit process, with a rich understanding of planning and zoning guidelines in San Francisco, Marin and Sonoma. With more than 25 years of experience, Kevin has built a unique and impressive spectrum of talents and perspectives.
