Uplift Education

Uplift Education is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1996 with a mission to provide high-performing, tuition-free, public charter schools to under-served areas in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. The organization, which has gained support from local and national donors such as the Communities Foundation of Texas and the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, operates a network of 45 schools serving 23,000 students. Its commitment to creating and sustaining public schools of excellence is driven by the aim to close the achievement gap among students regardless of their background. A significant milestone was marked by the $360.00K grant investment in February 2, 2014. Uplift Education actively engages with local leaders to improve education in the community and strives to change perceptions about public education by providing free college preparatory education and nurturing civic responsibility.
