Established in 1890, it is the state's sole academic health center, situated at the UArizona campus in Tucson and expanding its presence at the Phoenix Biomedical Campus in downtown Phoenix. Comprising five colleges that train future nurses, doctors, pharmacists, and public health practitioners, UArizona Health Sciences extends its reach beyond borders to provide healthcare education, research, and service, making it a vital asset for Arizonans and their neighbors. The latest investment of $4.00M Grant on 18 July 2023 from Maricopa County underscores its commitment to advancing healthcare in the region.
