United Concrete Canvas is the exclusive official distributor of the revolutionary Geosynthetic Cementitious Composite Mat (GCCM) Concrete Canvas® for the CIS region. We provide full project support, from cost-estimates and engineering consulting to site visits and installation supervision. Our clients include such companies as SUEK, Transneft', ALROSA, Lukoil Komi, Norilsk Nickel, Polymetal, Eurochem and many more. Internationally, Concrete Canvas® is used by global corporations including BP, Total, Shell, BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Ledcor Group, and Vale. Concrete Canvas® is a flexible, concrete-filled geotextile which hardens on hydration to form a thin, durable, and waterproof concrete layer. The material’s unique technology enables concrete construction without the need for plant or mixing equipment: just add water. Concrete Canvas® can be installed at rates of up to 200sqm per hour, which is typically up to 10 times faster than installation rates using conventional concrete. The material has a 2-hour handling window after hydration, and within 24 hours gains 80% of its final operational strength. The speed and ease with which Concrete Canvas® can be installed means that it is far more cost-effective than conventional concrete, particularly for projects in remote regions, where the simplified logistics enable substantial savings to be made. With a BBA- certified service life of over 120 years, and very little need for maintenance once installed, Concrete Canvas® drastically reduces whole-life project costs wherever it is used. Concrete Canvas® is an environmentally-friendly alternative to conventional concrete: it is a low mass, low carbon technology which uses up to 95% less material and water than conventional concrete for many applications. In a recent independent study, Concrete Canvas® was found to have a Global Warming Potential (GWP) 45% lower than poured concrete, making the solution an important factor in anyone’s ESG strategy.
