Union of International Associations - UIA

Union of International Associations - UIA is a Brussels-based nonprofit research institute that has been documenting the international community of INGOs and IGOs for over 100 years . Founded by Henri La Fontaine (Nobel Peace Prize laureate of 1913) and information science pioneer Paul Otlet, the UIA is non-profit, apolitical, independent, and non-governmental in nature.
