Union Investment is part of the Cooperative Financial Services Group of Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken. Since 1956, the company has been an expert in fund asset management and is one of the largest capital investment companies in Germany with over 450 billion Euros in Assets under Management. It aims to act responsibly, anticipatorily, in partnership, and professionally while always providing the best solution for its more than five million clients. The company stands out from other financial service providers due to its cooperative philosophy, which is also reflected in its organization. Union Investment is divided into different areas including Portfolio Management, Real Estate, Retail Customers, Institutional Customers, Fund Services, Infrastructure & IT, and Staff and Control Units.
