UNC Health Pardee

UNC Health Pardee is a not-for-profit healthcare system managed by UNC Health and has been improving the health of Western NC communities since 1953. Initially established as Henderson County Hospital Corporation with the creation of Patton Memorial Hospital in 1913, it later expanded as Margaret R. Pardee Memorial Hospital in 1953 to accommodate more patients and medical staff. Notably, Pardee is the first hospital in the Carolinas to be accredited by the International Organization for Standardization for quality healthcare standards. Presently, it includes a comprehensive primary care and specialist physician network, cancer center, four urgent care locations, and six orthopedic clinics, meeting the community's diverse healthcare needs.
