Ultimate Kho Kho is India's first-ever professional Kho Kho League, established in 2019 as a collaboration between Dabur India Ltd Chairman, Amit Burman, and the Kho Kho Federation of India (KKFI). The initiative aims to market and package India's indigenous sport of Kho Kho into a professional structure. The Ultimate Kho Kho League strives to elevate the age-old Indian sport to international standards and give young talents the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of a pan-India and global audience. The league's inaugural season will feature six teams and will draft Kho Kho players from across the world, including England, South Korea, Republic of Iran, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, who will play alongside Indian players. The teams will also have the opportunity to include young players in their respective squads, nurturing the future of Kho Kho in the country. The latest investment, a Series A investment, was secured on 21 November 2023 from BNP Venture Capital.
