UCP of Greater Cleveland is a nonprofit organization founded in 1950, with a mission to support individuals with diverse disabilities. With over 200 dedicated employees, UCP offers 17 distinct programs and services to 1,300 individuals, ranging from infants to senior adults. While initially focused on cerebral palsy, UCP now serves clients with a wide range of disabilities. The organization operates two distinct branches of service, branded as Centers of Excellence—LeafBridge for Children with Disabilities and OakLeaf for Adults with Disabilities, to reach a larger audience. In August 2022, UCP received a $5.00 million grant investment to further its initiatives in empowering individuals with disabilities to advance their independence, productivity, and community inclusion. UCP's commitment to providing expert therapeutic interventions for children and innovative community integration and employment programs for adults has garnered significant support and is poised for further growth and impact.
