TILA Studios is a visual arts incubator that empowers emerging black women artists to create and showcase their art through their year-long membership and agency program. Their mission revolves around the belief that when black women artists thrive, they have the power to transform communities and the world. Featured in New York Times, Huffington Post, NPR, and Forbes, TILA Studios has received numerous accolades including the Arts Innovation Luminary Award and Best of Atlanta 2017 and 2018 Awards. Established in 2016, the organization has redistributed over $150,000 among artists through residencies, fellowships, and gallery sales. The company received a $100.00K grant investment on 18 August 2023 from Intuit Mailchimp. TILA Studios curated the first exhibition by women of color for the Mayor’s Office in City Hall and was the first organization to produce a gallery for Summit 21, selling a record amount of artwork to collectors across the nation.
