Tigerair Taiwan

Tigerair Taiwan is the first and only Taiwan-based low-cost carrier (LCC), established at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport as a joint venture between China Airlines Group and Tiger Airways Holdings. Notably, China Airlines Group currently holds 90 percent of the shares, as they bought back the 10 percent previously owned by Tiger Airways Holdings. The establishment received its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) from the Civil Aeronautics Administration (ROC) in September 2014 and commenced operations on 26 September 2014.

Tigerair Taiwan operates with a fleet of 11 Airbus A320 aircraft, serving 20 destinations and 27 routes in Macau, North East Asia, and South East Asia, carrying over 6.5 million passengers. With an average fleet age of 3.1 years, it boasts one of the youngest fleets in the region.
