Thomashuis
Thomashuis offers a loving home for adults with intellectual disabilities, with a unique approach to care. Founded in 2003, each Thomashuis accommodates nine residents living with two resident care entrepreneurs. The homes, spread across 119 locations in the Netherlands, are situated in beautiful and serene settings, ranging from historic buildings to spacious farmhouses.
Residents are provided with a sense of normalcy, having their own personalized rooms where they can entertain visitors and enjoy personal time. The model encourages community integration and stability. Care is provided by dedicated teams who offer a constant and reliable presence for residents and their families. This approach fosters a sense of security, leading to lasting and meaningful relationships.
Thomashuis is part of De Drie Notenboomen, a care concept developer which includes other care formulas such as De Herbergier, Thomas op Kamers, and De Zorgbutler.
This innovative concept in care has the potential to attract investment from venture capital seeking impactful and scalable social care models, tapping into the growing demand for alternative care solutions globally.
