Third Brigade

Third Brigade is a Canada-based Enterprise Software startup. Founded in 2004, the company aims to provide enterprise-class security solutions that are easy to deploy and manage, protecting host computers from cyber attacks exploiting vulnerabilities in critical systems. Third Brigade's flagship product is a host intrusion detection and prevention system (host IDS/IPS) that includes stateful firewall, application firewall, and intrusion detection and prevention for individual networked hosts and virtual machines within virtual environments. In December 2005, Third Brigade secured a $13.00M Series B investment from a consortium of notable investors including BDC Capital, Celtic House Venture Partners, BCE Capital, and Summerhill Venture Partners. The investment aimed to further develop and expand the company's innovative security solutions.
