Thermoplan AG is a Swiss company founded by Esther and Domenic Steiner in 1974, initially focusing on developing milk foaming and cream whipping machines for the food service and catering industry. However, the company's breakthrough came with the introduction of the Black&White coffee machine in the mid-1990s. This fully automatic coffee machine, known for its modular construction, sets itself apart in terms of service friendliness, ease of use, and product quality. Notably, in 2007 Thermoplan pioneered a revolutionary milk system capable of producing both hot and cold milk foam with a simple touch, a feature integrated into all its Black&White machines.
Operating as a "Swiss-made" firm, Thermoplan boasts an export share of over 97% and distributes its high-quality products to more than 75 countries. The company's headquarters, located in Weggis, Switzerland, as well as its subsidiaries in Germany and the United States, collectively employ about 420 individuals. The company's innovative products and exceptional reliability have earned it recognition well beyond Switzerland's borders.
