The Krista Foundation for Global Citizenship is a United States-based organization founded in 1999. It aims to equip young adults with skills to transform service experiences into lives of service leadership. The foundation offers a Krista Colleague Cohort program, through which young Christian leaders who have participated in hands-on volunteer service with organizations such as Peace Corps, AmeriCorps or Jesuit Volunteer Corps are nominated each year. The organization also provides partnership and leadership training services, collaborating with universities, service organizations, and community groups to promote resources and intentional spaces for healthy service and developing a lifelong ethic of service. The Krista Foundation's mentorship, colleague community, and re-integration services support young adults in fully understanding and employing the learnings from their service experiences, helping them transition into lives of service leadership during their pivotal 20-something years.
