The International Women's Writing Guild is a global powerhouse & digital village for mighty, soulful women writers. Since its inception in 1976, the Guild has been devoted to the personal and professional empowerment of women through writing. It has a remarkable track record of supporting thousands of women writers across genres and around the world, leading to the publication of over 4,000 books and literary works. The organization achieves its mission by bringing together craft and community through a mix of regional writing retreats and the annual summer conference, which is the longest-running event of its kind in the United States, spanning 7 days in a university setting and attracting workshop leaders and women writers from across the country. Additionally, the Guild hosts writing retreats in Boston, Erie, Los Angeles, and New York, and has a history of drawing members from around the world. As a proponent of inclusivity, it welcomes any woman with an interest in storytelling through writing as craft, envisioning a world where women can raise their voices and have an impact.
