The Guild for Human Services is a non-profit organization founded in 1945, dedicated to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, and behavioral/mental health challenges. The organization operates a private special-education school in Concord serving up to 90 students ages 6-22, nine group homes for 72 youth in neighboring communities, and 15 residential homes for 75 adults throughout Eastern Massachusetts. Led by Chief Executive Officer Amy C. Sousa, PhD, The Guild's mission is to educate, encourage, and empower individuals with intellectual disabilities to lead high-quality lives and participate meaningfully in society. The Guild has received several accolades, including a three-year accreditation for its adult and youth programs, the highest level of accreditation, awarded by CARF International. Additionally, the organization's staff members have been recognized for their dedication and excellence, with individuals such as Bob Renois and Isaac Mukwaya receiving prestigious awards for their exceptional contributions.
