The Center For Rapid Recovery

The Center For Rapid Recovery (CRR) is a non-profit health care organization founded in 1992 with the mission of eliminating racial and ethnic disparities in health and healthcare. Located in the United States, specifically in the Village of Hempstead within the 18th Assembly District of Nassau County, CRR serves ethnically and linguistically diverse residents of Long Island. The organization focuses on providing culturally competent and high-quality care to individuals with chemical dependence, developmental disabilities, HIV/AIDS, mental health concerns, and their families in the Nassau County communities of Freeport, Roosevelt, Uniondale, and Hempstead, New York. CRR is dedicated to reducing health disparities and improving access to culturally and linguistically competent behavioral healthcare for communities of color.
