The academy's close relationship with Blackbird Studio, owned by John & Martina McBride, sets it apart. Blackbird Studio is renowned as one of the world's premier recording destinations, known for hosting artists such as Beck, Kenny Chesney, Kings of Leon, Taylor Swift, and many others. This connection has driven the Blackbird Academy to renovate two of the eight studios for educational purposes, showcasing a purpose-built Recording Laboratory equipped with an API 1608 console, Pro Tools HD, and other professional-grade equipment. The academy's last investment amounted to $3.01M in a Pre-Seed Round on June 11, 2013, displaying early investor confidence in its unique approach to audio education.
