Texas Association of Counties (TAC) works to unite counties to achieve better solutions. Established in 1969, TAC provides services to Texas counties and promotes the value of county government statewide. As the representative voice for all 254 Texas counties and county officials, TAC facilitates communication of the county perspective to state officials and citizens. TAC fosters an amazing workplace culture intentionally through a collective commitment to the TAC Way, which consists of 26 guiding fundamentals reflecting values of trust, integrity, and service.
