On June 20th, 2011, Eagle-SWS transitioned to SWS Environmental Services. This rebranding effort more accurately reflects their services and mission. The merger of Southern Waste Services, Inc. and Eagle Construction and Environmental Services, L.P. resulted in the formation of Eagle-SWS in November 2008, which was backed by a $23.70M Venture Round investment from Norwest Mezzanine Partners.

SWS Environmental Services has significantly broadened its portfolio and enhanced its ability to respond to environmental emergencies effectively, with multiple service centers located throughout the Midwest, North, South, and Gulf Coast. Originating from a small domestic waste company in the early 1970s, SWS First Response has grown into a leading emergency response and environmental services provider, offering a full suite of environmental services across six states.

Founded in 1981, Eagle Construction and Environmental Services evolved from a small commercial construction company in West Texas to a prominent full-service environmental company. The company provides practical environmental solutions across multiple states, leveraging its extensive experience and resources.
