Swaroop Agrochemical Industries is an agrochemical start-up based in India, founded by Mr. Sameer Pathare, a Chemical Engineer from Mumbai in 1993. The company initially focused on trading and re-packing various chemicals and hormones for grape cultivation in the Maharashtra region. Due to a significant response, they expanded into formulating their own products and established a research and development laboratory. Their product range includes a variety of agrochemicals, organic fertilizers, herbal pesticides, and specialty inorganic agrochemicals, catering to a wide range of crops. Recognized for their innovation, Swaroop has been awarded patents for several products by the Government of India. They also manufacture certified organic and 100% natural organic products, adhering to NPOP Standards under certification from the prestigious certification agency NOCA, affiliated to APEDA. Their commitment to quality is reinforced by a strong in-house R&D facility and an analytical laboratory equipped with sophisticated equipment. Moreover, they offer testing services for farmers at subsidized rates and are approved by the Government of Maharashtra. In terms of diversification, Swaroop ventured into the home garden segment in 2007 under the banner of Swaroop’s Home Garden Shoppee, targeting Garden and Plant Nursery Centers in major cities in India. Currently, Swaroop Agrochemical Industries has not disclosed their last investment or investors. The company operates in the agriculture, food and beverage, and manufacturing industries, positioning itself as a comprehensive provider of micro-nutrients, natural and certified organic growth promoters, and specialty inorganic agrochemicals.
