From founders for founders StartupDorf is a regional network built by founders to promote the startup scene (Gründerszene) and startup ecosystem in the Düsseldorf administrative district (Regierungsbezirk Düsseldorf). Bottom-up. A hub and a community at the same time to get support for the foundation and growth of startups in the digital economy and to network with other startup founders. Bringing the players together, promoting startup culture and offering proven support for founders. As a representative for web and tech entrepreneurship in the Düsseldorf area, we have been developing structures for a sustainable startup ecosystem under the umbrella of StartupDorf since 2013. Giving club members, startups on the Rhine and Ruhr an independent voice and reliable help for their concerns so that the development of internationally operating and successful startups happens faster and easier in our region - so that 1st Class Entrepreneurship and Innovation can further establish itself. That is our mission. FoundersFirst. We believe that our whole region with Düsseldorf, capital city of the state of NRW and center of the Regierungsbezirk Düsseldorf (metropolitian region with 5.2 million people) is a hub of entrepreneurial driven innovation, creativity and high-technology. Innovators and entrepreneurs are everywhere, they just need to come together to collaborate and share the clear vision that leads to a vibrant startup community. Membership is available for Startups and on the other side for VCs, SME, German "Mittelstand", Corporates and Multinationals. Membership for startups out of the "Regierungsbezirk Düsseldorf" is free of cost. Entry club fee for Multinationals for example is 1.000 Eur.
