Southside Community Land Trust

The Southside Community Land Trust is a non-profit organization founded in 1981, headquartered in the United States, with a recent $100.00KGrant investment from UNFI Foundation in 25 August 2022. The organization's purpose is to provide access to land, education, and resources for sustainable urban food production in Greater Providence. Through teaching, land management, resource access, community support, and model programs, the Southside Community Land Trust aims to create a community food system that offers locally produced, affordable, and healthy food to all. Their vision is to be a national leader in urban agriculture, transforming various landscapes into productive food-growing spaces and empowering Greater Providence residents with the capacity to meet a portion of their food needs through local production.
