SonoVol, now part of the Revvity family was founded in 2012, and is a spinout of the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at UNC-Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University. The team has developed numerous ultrasound-imaging technologies with direct commercial applications to several disease research markets. SonoVol has sold multiple imaging systems deployed across the world.
