Solwena is a Polish startup founded in 2016 with a strong focus on energy efficiency. The company has developed the Intelligent Energy Management System (IZE) aimed at achieving zero-waste in building energy management. The system promises to deliver substantial benefits including up to 20% energy cost savings, improved comfort, functionality, and the opportunity to obtain BREEAM, LEED, and ISO50001 certifications. In addition, Solwena has the capability to retrofit older buildings to meet contemporary ecological and comfort standards. The startup recently secured a PLN8.00M investment in its seed round led by EEC Ventures on 05 May 2022.As the main investor, Solwit S.A., a prominent Polish Software House, has played a critical role in the development of IZE, the company's core product, which seamlessly integrates leading algorithms with building automation. This infusion of capital is poised to propel Solwena's expansion and further solidify its position in the market.
