Solusolo

Solusolo is a Brazilian biotechnology startup, founded in 2018, with a mission to address soil health issues. The company's flagship product, the Kaizen TMT, is a Japanese biotechnology solution developed by brothers André and Diro Hokari. It was born out of their own need when they observed the detrimental effects of continuous crop cultivation without allowing the soil to rest. After extensive research, they found an organic product in Japan and sought the expertise of Dr. Celso Tomita to adapt it to the local climate. This collaboration led to the development of "TMT," a soil recovery solution that has shown remarkable effectiveness in improving soil health and subsequently boosting productivity. The company recently secured a BRL1.40M Pre Seed Round investment from VENTIUR on June 25, 2023. Solusolo's innovative approach and promising results position it as a key player in the biotechnology industry, addressing crucial agricultural challenges in Brazil and potentially beyond.
