Simpa sells solar-as-a-service to energy poor households and micro-enterprises that lack access to electricity in rural areas. Simpa helps its customers transform a daily expenditure for energy into ownership of a valuable asset using our innovative solar leasing model called 'Progressive Purchase'. Customers make a small initial payment to get a high-quality solar PV system installed. Using pay-as-you-go approach (PAYG), each subsequent payment for the energy service also contributes towards the final purchase price. Once fully paid, the system unlocks permanently and delivers free solar energy for years. Simpa's model is enabled by its patented metering technology, deep rural sales reach and attractive customer financing. This business model is disruptive and highly scalable, re-imagining the value chain for delivering energy access at the base of the economic pyramid. We're present in India as Simpa Energy with our head office in Noida, and rural operations across several districts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar & Odisha. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in India, Simpa Networks last received a Venture Round investment at 07 August 2015.
