SIMKHAI is a fashion startup founded in 2010 by designer JONATHAN SIMKHAI. The company focuses on designing for the elevated everyday with innovative techniques and timeless craftsmanship. It draws inspiration from architects and sculptors, blending progressive construction techniques with intimate hand-detailing to create unique garments and lifestyle designs.
In 2015, SIMKHAI was recognized for its original silhouettes, quality constructions, and timeless elegance, winning the prestigious CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. The company continues to nurture a creative community around its home in Los Angeles and shares its designs and stories with women worldwide who live artful, unapologetic lives.
Jonathan Simkhai, the founder, honed his technical skills at Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology before launching the company's first womenswear line in New York City. As an early inductee to the CFDA Incubator program, he developed an eye for craft and quality. Today, he leads the brand’s creative studio, drawing inspiration from his travels and the cities he and his husband call home.
