Signature Theatre Company

Signature Theatre Company is a pioneering entity in the entertainment industry, dedicated to celebrating playwrights by providing them with an artistic home. Established in 1991, the company undertakes the distinctive task of producing a body of work by each resident writer and staging six to eight productions annually.

One of the most revolutionary initiatives by Signature Theatre has been the Signature Ticket Initiative, introduced in 2005, which ensures affordable tickets for every production, reinforcing inclusivity and accessibility in the arts. In 2012, the company achieved a monumental milestone with the opening of the Pershing Square Signature Center, a Frank Gehry-designed marvel spanning 75,000 square feet.

Comprising three theatres, two rehearsal studios, a central public lobby with a café and bookstore, and administrative offices, this center has become the uplifting nucleus of creativity and innovation.
