Seven Studios was an electronic entertainment company based in West Los Angeles, California. Established in 1999 by Lewis Peterson and six industry veterans, the company developed console video games featuring top-tier entertainment properties such as The Sopranos, Fantastic Four, Shrek the Third, and Pirates of the Caribbean, along with original properties.
Acquired by Activision in April 2009 as a AAA music game development team, Seven Studios contributed to multiple titles in the Guitar Hero and DJ Hero franchises until its closure in June 2011.
