SeniorsPlus is a designated Area Agency on Aging serving Androscoggin, Franklin, & Oxford counties. As a 501c3 nonprofit, it offers critical services such as Meals on Wheels to older adults, adults with disabilities, and their caregivers. With a yearly outreach of 8,000 individuals and 101,000 inquiries, SeniorsPlus aims to enrich lives and empower older adults and individuals with disabilities to make informed choices. Recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in ME, this non-profit organization has a staff of 125 employees, 100 volunteers, and a board of directors. Founded in 1972, SeniorsPlus strives to develop innovative approaches for person-centered care and the "Thriving in Place" initiative to engage older adults and individuals with disabilities. With headquarters in Lewiston, Maine and satellite offices in Norway and Wilton, SeniorsPlus also provides care coordination for home- and community-based services statewide. This includes being contracted with the State to provide home care coordination across Maine.
