Salit Specialty Rebar (SSR) is North America’s stainless steel rebar fabrication specialists. The core business of SSR is to fabricate and distribute stainless steel reinforcing bars and mesh for the concrete construction industry. In 2013, Salit opened SSR’s 40,000 square-foot facility at 1050 Military Road, Buffalo to expand its services and easily supply clients in Canada and the United States with an increasing range of stainless steel products. The production facility firmly establishes SSR as the leading supplier of cut stainless steel rebar, and preformed stainless steel rebar and mesh in North America. The facility is approximately 6 km from the Peace Bridge, a major international border crossing between Fort Erie, Ontario, and Buffalo, New York.
