SAHMRI (South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute) is a leading hub for medical research, housing over 800 medical researchers who are dedicated to addressing society's most pressing health issues. Founded in 2009, the institute is committed to pioneering research that will ultimately lead to improved health outcomes. Located in the west end of Adelaide, SAHMRI is supported by the Federal and State Governments, as well as the three major South Australian universities and the SA Department of Health. This backing has enabled SAHMRI to establish extensive collaborative partnerships at the state, national, and global levels.
