Rose City Ford Sales Limited was founded in Windsor, Ontario in 1981 by William (Bill) Chisholm, with a vision to create a "best in class" car dealership. In 1996, Bill retired and his son John Chisholm took over as the owner and operator until 2018. In December 2018, Rose City Ford was acquired by AutoCanada Inc., a leading North American multi-location automobile dealership group with operations in various provinces in Canada and Illinois, USA.
