REY ALIMENTACIÓN S.L. is a family-owned company located in Castuera (Extremadura). Since its inception, the Rey family has focused on producing two products with a rich tradition in the area: turrón and olive oil. The company originated in the mid-60s, inheriting the tradition of four generations of nougat and sweet manufacturers, and it is currently managed by the fifth generation. In the 1980s, it underwent a transformation by incorporating the latest technological advances in the production of these products. This continuous modernization has positioned REY ALIMENTACIÓN at the forefront of technology and capacity within its industry in Spain. In the 90s, the company implemented quality controls throughout the production, packaging, and distribution processes. Towards the end of the 90s, it embarked on a diversification process by building a modern olive oil processing plant. “REY” has a presence in markets across more than 20 countries, including those in South America, Asia, North America, and Europe. They export 25% of their production outside of Spain, with a strong focus on markets that prioritize the quality and natural origin of food products. Their oils, branded as “SIERRA SERENA,” are mainly marketed in traditional consumer markets where quality is the decisive factor in purchasing decisions. The company operates in the Food and Beverage as well as Manufacturing industries.
