Renneberg Hardwoods, Inc. - Company Profile

Renneberg Hardwoods, Inc. was founded in 1980 by Wes Renneberg, initially as a sawmill and logging operation to address a local need following the shutdown of a sawmill in the community. Over the years, the company has evolved significantly, with the establishment of the first kiln in 1984 marking the beginning of its journey to becoming the top distributor of high-quality kiln-dried lumber in the midwest. By 1990, Renneberg Hardwoods had perfected its processes, expanding its team to 15 employees and distributing lumber predominantly to cabinet shops and furniture makers. In 1994, the company further expanded by adding a Dimensions shop for producing premium-quality moldings. Renneberg Hardwoods is known for its meticulous kiln drying process, which has contributed to its growth into a 75-person operation, while also maintaining its support for sawmills locally and throughout the country.
