Recirculating Farms Coalition

The Recirculating Farms Coalition is dedicated to fostering the creation of green jobs and promoting the cultivation of affordable, local food through the advancement of eco-friendly recirculating farms. Established in 2009 and based in the United States, the organization unites farmers, educators, non-profit groups, and other stakeholders to bolster the availability of wholesome food from local sources. Their efforts are concentrated on conducting research, providing education, and advocating for the development of eco-efficient farms that utilize clean recycled water as the foundation for food cultivation. The coalition firmly believes that these recirculating farms have the potential to generate sustainable employment opportunities while offering a consistent supply of responsibly grown produce and humanely-raised seafood in diverse communities across the nation and potentially worldwide. In March 2022, the organization secured a $650.00K grant investment from The Humana Foundation.
