RAVEN, a. s. is a prominent distributor of metallurgical material in the Visegrad Group countries. The group, comprising RAVEN a.s. with subsidiaries RAVEN CZ a.s., RAVEN PL Sp. z o.o., and RAVEN Hungary Kft., boasts 750 employees and is a key player in the industry, achieving an annual turnover of 300 mils. €.

The company was founded in 1993 in Považská Bystrica, Slovakia, and has since expanded its network of warehouses in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. It extended its business portfolio to include construction materials in Považská Bystrica and entered the Czech market in 2002 with the establishment of a subsidiary in Hradec Králové.

With the subsidiary, RAVEN PL Sp. z o.o., founded in Gliwice, Poland in 2011, the company made significant inroads into the Polish market. The expansion continued in 2015 as RAVEN entered the Hungarian market with the establishment of RAVEN Hungary Kft. based in Sóskút.
