With the continuous increase in cremation rates and growing interest in crematoria emissions standards, there is a clear need for a major shift in the funeral services industry. Traditional fire cremation releases toxins, dioxides, furans, particulates, and greenhouse gases, posing a significant environmental concern. Moreover, the mercury vapors generated from incinerations are increasingly recognized as a substantial pollutant associated with fire-based cremations.
