Pushpagiri Vitreo Retina Institute

Pushpagiri Vitreo Retina Institute (PVRI) is a non-profit, NABH recognized super specialty eye hospital founded in 2007 with a mission to provide affordable, high-quality eye care with a not-for-profit focus in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, India. PVRI operates a network of hospitals across the region, performing over 30,000 eye surgeries annually, with more than 65% being provided free of charge for the most disadvantaged sections of society. The institute has positively impacted the lives of over a million marginalized people through various interventions, including eye healthcare awareness, quality eye healthcare services, paramedic skill development, doctor's fellowship, and corporate partnerships. PVRI's last investment was a €5.00K grant investment received on 29 June 2019 from Bharat Energy Storage Technology. The organization is registered as a charitable society under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Act 2001, holds various registrations including CSR, income tax, NGO Darpan, PAN number, and FCRA. PVRI aims to further expand its community eye care programs and eliminate preventable blindness in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana through strategic partnerships and alliances, focusing on upgrading eye care facilities and expanding access to underserved areas.
