PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (PEFINDO) is a renowned credit rating agency established in Jakarta in 1993. Recognized as Indonesia's Most Trusted and Credible Credit Rating Agency, it received its operating license from BAPEPAM in 1994 and remains a pivotal institution in the Indonesian Capital Market. PEFINDO's core function lies in providing impartial and reliable credit ratings for corporate entities and debt securities, promoting transparency and confidence in the financial sector. As a private limited liability company, it is backed by 86 domestic institutional shareholders, including major pension funds, banks, insurers, Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), and securities companies.
