Pryme is a circular plastic economy startup that aims to convert plastic waste into valuable products at an industrial scale through chemical recycling. The company successfully completed the construction of its first plant, Pryme One, in the Port of Rotterdam with an initial annual intake of 40,000 mt. This facility has commenced the production of Liquefied Plastic Waste since January 2024. Pryme’s innovative and scalable technology is based on a proven pyrolysis process, enriched with proprietary characteristics.
Founded in 2008, Pryme is committed to contributing to a low-carbon, circular plastic economy while developing a broad portfolio of owned-operated plants with strategic partners. The company has been listed on the Oslo Euronext Growth Exchange. Pryme recently secured a €5.00M Post-IPO Debt investment on 11 June 2024, with the backing of InnovationQuarter. With a focus on Energy, Manufacturing, and Renewable Energy industries, Pryme is set to play a pivotal role in the sustainable management of plastic waste.
