Polinas is a leading Turkish BOPP film manufacturer that was established in 1982 and is a part of Yıldız Holding. The company specializes in producing BOPP, BOPET, metallized, coated, holographic films, and tear tapes. In 2011, Polinas made a significant acquisition by purchasing the Italian BOPET film manufacturer Nuroll SpA. This allowed the company to expand its capacities, including the addition of a 30,000t capacity BOPET line in 2012 and a 47,000t capacity BOPP line in 2015, increasing its total nameplate film capacity to 173,000t/year. With 5 BOPP lines producing 115,000t, and Nuroll and Manisa BOPET lines with 58,000t, Polinas ranks among the top 5 producers in Europe, solidifying its position in the market. Moreover, in 2016, Polinas ventured into the Kitchen Solutions sector, expanding its portfolio to include products such as cling film, trash bags, and freezer bags under the SERA brand. This initiative was supported by the establishment of a new plant in Manisa with a 14,000t/year capacity.
