PNAT srl is a multidisciplinary research and design practice, founded in 2015 as a spin-off of the University of Florence. The company brings together architects, engineers, and plant scientists to promote synergic relationships between the natural and built environment. Led by Prof. Stefano Mancuso, along with a team of agronomists, botanists, and architects, PNAT designs solutions to integrate plants in the urban environment and everyday devices. The company seeks to maximize the benefits brought by plants, including improved air quality, food production, and psycho-physical well-being.
