Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance

Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance (PPORA) is a collaborative organization focused on strengthening the outdoor recreation industry in the Pikes Peak region through leadership and collaboration. Led by a Board and Advisory Council consisting of outdoor industry and community leaders, including founding partners: Colorado Springs Chamber and EDC and Visit Colorado Springs, the organization aims to establish the region as THE place for outdoor recreation. Additionally, PPORA was selected as a Colorado Outdoor Regional Partner through the Colorado Outdoor Partnership to advance recreation and conservation planning for the Pikes Peak region. The organization's mission is fulfilled through five pillars: GROW, INSPIRE, STRENGTHEN, STEWARD, and ADVOCATE. They aim to establish policies and best practices for the industry, attract and recruit appropriate businesses, and make the Pikes Peak Region one of the premier destinations for outdoor recreation. This will be achieved through the creation of a dynamic outdoor data dashboard, conducting assessments to identify challenges and aspirations, and evaluating implementation and management solutions. As of now, there is no publicly available information about the last investment in PPORA or the involved investors.
