PIDC is Philadelphia’s public-private economic development corporation dedicated to driving growth in all neighborhoods of Philadelphia. Founded in 1958 as a nonprofit organization by the City of Philadelphia and the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia, PIDC provides financing and real estate products to businesses, nonprofits, and developers. The organization's mission is to foster inclusive economic development for a high quality of life for all Philadelphians by working with companies of all sizes. PIDC focuses on areas such as capacity building, capital access, land use, knowledge sharing, and employee well-being.
