The Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center (PABC) is a nonprofit life sciences incubator dedicated to the creation of a world-class biotechnology center; to the promotion of regional economic development and job creation; and to the education and training of tomorrow’s researchers. Funded in part by grants from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, The PABC, which opened in 2006, seeks to advance biotechnology in Bucks County and the surrounding region, maximize synergies between nonprofit scientists and their commercial colleagues, and launch new ideas and discoveries that will make a difference. Funded in part by grants from the U.S. Economic Development Administration and Pennsylvania Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program Grant, a new building opened in 2022 grew the campus by 40% and doubled the lab and office space available. The PABC operates in the industries of Biotechnology and Health Care, with its headquarters based in the United States.
